The Office for Nursing Research (ONR) supports the UW School of Nursing’s research mission to elevate and advance nursing science. UW is among the top ranked Schools of Nursing in research funding from the National Institutes of Health with six centers of excellence. Our faculty and staff are Principal Investigators on approximately 160 active and pending research students and are collaborators on dozens of research students around the globe.
ONR advances high-impact and innovative science by providing and managing a comprehensive array of research infrastructure for faculty and students that supports grant/research lifecyles. This includes grant application support, statistical consulting, pilot funding, and the use of laboratories and testing services, among other resources.
